Main Line Therapy Solutions, LLC

Emily Tolnay, MSS, LSW (Haverford & Telehealth)

Emily holds a Masters of Social Service from Bryn Mawr College and is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania. Prior to changing careers, Emily spent time in the performing arts industry as a professional musician and actor. She was driven to enter the social work field by her passion for mental health and the absence of attention placed on it in our society, as well as her love for connecting with others. Emily has experience working with young children and adolescents, as well as those struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and personality disorders. Given her creative background, she enjoys working with other creative artists in the community seeking therapy.

Emily is certified in group psychotherapy and has experience conducting group and family sessions, in addition to individual therapy. She uses a trauma-informed approach and tailors her clinical work to suit each client’s individual needs. She is dedicated to providing a space where clients can feel that their experience of the world is understood.
